Calling for Collaborators: Book Arts Studio Transformation –
Middletown, CT

Are you a skilled bookbinder &/or letterpress printer looking for a creative, collaborative, well-equipped shared space?

Seeking two experienced book/print artists to share my letterpress book arts studio, a portion of the rent* and/or responsibilities & income

When & where: Starting fall 2025 / Historically known as Robin Price, Publisher Middletown, CT

My goal is to co-create a financially sustainable model that supports the long-term future of the studio & those using it. I'd love to contribute toward whatever leads to nourishing future generations with the incredible resources on hand here.

What’s Possible

This is an open, evolving opportunity. We might explore, among other:

  • a short-term trial
  • Project-based arrangement, with percentage-of-sales agreements
  • Collaboratively publishing artists’ books or provocative, funny, inexpensive prints
  • Take on selective commission work
  • Offer classes / perhaps build toward a non-profit book arts center
  • Creative partnership models not yet envisioned

I’m eager to share, mentor (if desired), collaborate, and provide access for team members to pursue individual projects. This is a space for mutual inspiration and invention.
