Walden Marginalia
Walden Marginalia is an exploration of annotation in Walden. With
the original text withheld, the margin notes of past readers come to the forefront. The accompanying essay serves as a commentary on reading habits and impulses, assumptions about nature writing and learning, and the lingering effects of Thoreau’s classic work.
